The conference brought together more than 400 experts, industry leaders, and representatives from the accounting, finance, business, and professional services sectors across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and around the world. Through simultaneous online broadcasting, the event also reached more than 100,000 viewers.
Under the theme “Serving the World, Embracing New Professional Trends,” the conference focused on cutting-edge topics including international convergence of accounting standards, sustainable information disclosure, international tax governance, and compliance for Chinese enterprises expanding overseas. It provided a high-level exchange platform for all parties, facilitating the coordinated development of professional services and corporate internationalisation.

During the event, Mr. Fung actively engaged in discussions and held in-depth exchanges with industry professionals. He shared insights on topics such as coordination of international regulations, risk management, and compliance practices, providing more actionable professional insights and support for Mainland enterprises “going global.” He stated that Hong Kong, as Asia’s financial center and the preferred platform for Mainland enterprises “going global,” possesses unique advantages, and Hong Kong accountants can play a key bridging role in areas such as cross-border compliance, international tax planning, and ESG disclosure. The event also facilitated many meaningful connections, which we believe will help foster future collaboration.
Looking ahead, WALL will continue to serve as a professional bridge between Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland. By actively participating in the collaborative development of the accounting profession in the Greater Bay Area, we aim to support more Mainland enterprises in achieving sustainable growth in international markets and high-quality global expansion.
